just wandering if wands and rods can be infused i have done it with my wand but it doesn't show anything or should i do it again :)

Yes however due to some technical limitations you will not see the bonus damage in the min/max section of the description however you should still see additional description about a wand/rod being infused and you will get the damage bonus anyway.
