Library Server Rules
Cyntara Rules
Read these rules carefully. These rules may be changed at any time. Rule changes will be announced on the main website.
1. Harassment: » Generally offensive words are allowed depending on the context of use. » If the context of a message can be considered harassment, it is punishable. (Including but not limited to: statements that are personally offensive, threatening the safety of another player, or offenses on non-Cyntara platforms.) The sanction is based on the seriousness of the offense, which will be determined by a staff member. » You are not allowed to share real-life or personal information about another player (also known as "doxxing") unless you have expressively been given permission by the player to do so. » You are not permitted, in any way, to impersonate a staff member. If you do so, every account tied to your IP address will be deleted and your IP address range will be blocked indefinitely. 2. Spamming / Illegal Advertising: » You are not permitted to flood channels with nonsensical messages. » You are not permitted to send messages or discuss other Open Tibia servers or Tibia. Discussion of other games (Ex. League of Legends, Overwatch etc.) is permitted. » You are not permitted to buy or sell any Cyntara material (characters, items, Cyntara Coins, etc.) for real life money or commodities that possess real life money value. Doing so will result in deletion of the entire account and any account tied to the IP addresses of both parties involved. 3. Bugs / Game Weaknesses: » You are not permitted to exploit bugs. If you happen to find a bug, we ask you to report it immediately on the Forum's designated Bug Reports Board with a meaningful, succinct message.
If the nature of the Bug Report contains sensitive information or information that has high susceptibility to abuse (eg. exp bug, crash bug, infinite money bug), please contact the Admin Team immediately via E-mail to admin@cyntara.org.
You may be compensated for reporting a bug if you do not abuse it. If you find a bug and exploit it without reporting it, the server may be subjected to a reset to the previous day along with an infraction applied to your character or account. » You are not permitted to take advantage of game mechanics to affect gameplay in a way that obstructs its natural order. (Ex. Arranging objects or characters in a way that other players cannot move them, killing your own characters / friends for frag rewards or power leveling, etc.) » If you are linked to DDoS attacks against our server, all accounts linked to your IP address will be deleted indefinitely. Your IP range will be banned indefinitely.
Furthermore, our dedicated server company will be contacted with your information and legal action may be taken. 4. Cheating: » Using tools to automatically perform or repeat certain actions without any interaction by the player (macros) is not allowed. » Manipulating the client program or using additional software to play the game is not allowed. 5. Accounts: » Account sharing is not allowed. This infraction yields no punishment, but your account will never be recovered for you if there is any evidence that your account has been willingly shared. » Hacking of any kind is not permitted. If an account is reported as hacked and a hacking can be proven, any account linked to the hacker's IP address will be deleted and their IP range will be blocked indefinitely. 6. Donations: » Any player that takes their money back through means of claim over PayPal will be PERMANENTLY IP-RANGE BANNED!
The account of the player will be HARD DELETED AUTOMATICALLY! This action is done by our servers and CANNOT BE UNDONE.
This also means you agree to never donate money that is not yours. » Extended Donation Terms & Agreements can be found HERE.
You automatically agree to these Terms & Agreements upon donating.
Disclaimers
» All rules must be followed in good faith.
» Players are not permitted to break server rules due to rule description semantics; punitive action will still be taken for rules broken.
» The server's staff members reserve the right to take action for any reason, even reasons not listed above.
» Red & Diath have the final decision on all actions taken.
A violation of the Cyntara Rules may lead to temporary banishment of characters and accounts. In severe cases, removal or modification of character skills, attributes and belongings, as well as the permanent removal of accounts without any compensation may be considered. The sanction is based on the seriousness of the rule violation and the previous record of the player. It is determined by the gamemaster imposing the banishment.
