This news post will be a condensed version of the changes coming to Cyntara v16s2.

Adevnturer Talents

Adventurer Talents is a new way for players to improve the strength of their characters by playing Cyntara and exploring the world. The system is designed to reward players for playing the game and engaging with its content rather than simply leveling up. There is currently opportunity to earn over 750 Adventurer Talent Points.

Minor server changes:
  • Added 5 new quests.
  • Removed the Speed shrine.
  • Reduced the power of Conduit and Speed Shrines.
  • Added new Talents category - Adventurer Talents, the Talent Points for the new category can be earned by completing Achievements.
  • Fixed an issue with "Damage vs. <Monster Race>" talents applying twice.
  • Fixed an issue with the Juggernaut and Turtls Shells not applying their damage reduction properly.
  • The Experience perk in the Prey system now scales with player's experience rate.
  • Reduced the power of Armageddon, Blizzard and Rain of Arrows spells at Rank 3.
  • Divination Cards now have their type as part of their name - making them searchable in the Depot Search feature.
  • Disabled the health and mana bonus granted for collecting outfits and mounts.
  • Added Blacksmith's Obsidian Chisels which can be used to further improve the Quality of items from 20% to 40%, these new Chisels are now dropped by higher level bosses. Keep in mind that Cyntara uses custom formulae for Armor and Defense stats, making them valuable.
  • Replaced the War Arena with Cyntara Playground; The Cyntara Playground is an area where players can do whatever they want with their characters without consequence. It also provides a number of "test" dummies of different races.
  • The Talent Respect cost past level 800 now scales with player level instead of fixed 100k price; the maximum scaled cost has been reduced to 50k.

Minor client changes:
  • Added default presets for Healer and Targeting for new characters.
  • Anti Idle, Auto Food and Container ID options are now enabled by default for new characters.
  • Improved the UX flow of changing preset entries in the Auto functions.
  • Fixed an integer overflow in TextEdit (i.e. Bank Transfers not handling values higher than 4.2 billion).
  • Added an experience rate/time to level HUD widget (can be disabled in HUD options).
  • Added search boxes to cosmetics in the Outfit Window.
  • Added default Action Bar presets for new characters.
  • Fixed an issue with the Bestiary tracking context-menu option not working properly for all monsters.
  • Added tooltips and caps to stats in the Inspect Overview window where applicable.
