My idea follows similarly with Maaziks. Give a standard amount of Cyntara Coings, this can be based on level if necessary as generally people of higher level lost more.
And if there is any way to reset quest chests, not the quests themselves, just hte chests, so people can reget thier rewards. Like say for the zone quests, i dont want to have to refarm all 7 artifacts, but getting my armor back would be cool, I just did that last night on 2 accounts with Lpepe's help, got all my rewards, pute them on the floor in my house and -blink- gone. lol

We are processing your comments and having discussion about compensation still. This process will take a bit of time, but for now, players will be able to re-open the following quest chests:
Beginner Quest Illusionist PillowPuzzle HotA Dragons Den Banshee / Banshee Queen Last Creep Standing Myth's Maze Cyntara Trivia All-Around Quest Pits of Inferno Trial of Fire The Dojo (can receive the amulet by speaking to Jinx again.) Cyntara Zone (excluding insignias) Demon Oak Graveyard Of Heroes Inquisition
Depending on the nature of the quest, it may have to be re-completed to reach the chest. For quests such as Pits of Inferno, though, you simply will have to go back to the reward room.

@Dafter
All players that have completed the Demon task have been mailed a Dragon Statue; regardless if they lost it or not.

Thats awesome, Thanks Red! :D Also if we have any kind of special event today if it could be around 5-6 (eastern) at night like usual events, that would be great, taking my wife to get her wisdom teeth out, so im not able to play for the next 4-5 hours and such.

I can so belive about your bp dafter!! lol, the thing is gm don't have data or way to know about lost items. I really lost much but we as players, we have to think in the server's problem this doesn't affects just your riches or mine this affects to everybody SO, first: don't start to fight to Red about what happened or lost, second: we just have to respect the Red's decision.
I think maazik's idea is the most practical and useful… just give something equal for everybody, AND for possible crybaby donaters who obviously got more than not donaters, give them a little more('cause they contributed to the server). Probably you'r gonna say I donated…Red can see my acc I didn't yet so the extra would not favor me but I'm thinking in the rest.
well this is my simple opinion :)

We will no longer be doing this. See this post.
This weekend (Friday->Sunday) we will be having a 2x loot rate. Cyntara really wasn't meant to have a 2x loot rate, but provided the circumstance, this should be an excellent opportunity for players to recoup some of their losses.
The frequency that certain bosses spawn will also be increased for these 3 days.
Lastly, I have authorized my staff to give out up to 3x the standard rewards for events for the next week; starting today. I have also encouraged them to run as many events as possible / as players would like.
There will be more to come…

As of now, the backup scripts are working as intended. If the backup script fails in any way, an e-mail is sent to both Red and I. And we now have a way to save the server and back up the database if it crashes unexpectedly.

Wish you had this setup before :)
