My suggestion is for those who party hunt Mind Flayers, so that any player who does at least 20-30% damage to each Mind Flayer should receive points towards thier credit.
As a blocker, over 2 hunts in Flayers getting about 60-70 Flayer kills i only recieved 15 Mind Flayer Points.
