Hi Andrew45,

The Cyntara patch on July 6 patch appears to have fixed this issue for a lot of players; it seems that you're using the correct client based on the build date. The error message should only execute when the client attempts to update from an older version.

I have a few questions:

1. Have you ever played Cyntara before?
2. Did you play / were you able to play Cyntara prior to the July 6 patch?
3. If yes, this newest update broke your client?
4. If not, did you try to clear all former installations of Cyntara and re-install the client, possibly with another mirror? (Probably a silly question / request but despite what the crashlog says, I have to inquire).
5. Is there any reason you're playing Cyntara through a VM? Have you tried to run the Cyntara client outside of a VM?

We're sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully with some more information we can find a solution.

I tried running it as admin, but still the same problem occurs

Tell me what kind of diagnostic info you need and I'll try to provide it
